Care institution Beth Shalom (Cordaan) offers space to people with a Jewish background. Same-d transformed the inner garden and the restaurant into a city park where residents, employees, carers, volunteers and other visitors can meet each other spontaneously. Promoting these encounters is an important part of the well-being and wellbeing of the elderly.
The Stadspark was recently extended with a Coffee&Gifts pavilion with a cosy terrace. The pavilion sells coffee, small snacks and gifts.
Natural colours and materials were used for the interior. The wicker chairs of the terrace were reused and re-upholstered. The pavilion is run by volunteers and is closed off with a transparent roller blind after closing time.
