The house of a family with 3 children was experienced as unsociable and impractical.
The large living room with relatively small kitchen lacked atmosphere. 
same-d chose a solution with a transparent en-suite to create a clear division of living room, dining room and kitchen.

The en-suite, a steel glass wall in bronze colour, separates the spaces, making the living room a space for rest and relaxation.
The light and transparency of the room were retained through the large amount of glass. 

In the kitchen we designed a seating area with a cosy family sofa. Ideal for breakfast with the children or drinks with friends.
 
The walnut furniture in combination with the deep blue walls gives a classic atmosphere. Combining this with contemporary design classics by well-known designers creates a contemporary image. The Persian carpet from the original interior proved to fit perfectly in the new surroundings.
