In cooperation with the owner we have created an attractive and kidproof interior. For the landlord it was important that especially guests with children can have a relaxing vacation here.

We opted for a quiet base combined with interesting textures for a soft and natural look. The rooms feel light and warm due to the use of light earth tones and materials found on the island. For example, we chose sea grass, bamboo, wood, rattan furniture and braided lamps, as well as custom made furniture. The built-in cabinets, kitchen and sofas were made by same-d and partly in the Netherlands and partly by local craftsmen on the island.

Indoors and outdoors in warm countries often blend into each other. This can also be seen in this vacation villa, where at the pool the typical 'palapa' immediately catches the eye. This canopy of dried palm leaves has set the tone for the whole look of the villa: warm, tropical and natural.
