same-d has designed the brochure on the occasion of the retrospective exhibition on Gerke Henkes. Museum Swaensteyn has dedicated the exhibition to the Voorburg artist. Around 1900 he lived and worked in the historic center of Voorburg and was one of the artists of the Haagse School.
The work is characterized by stillness and the display of domestic happiness.
