The book Huygens' Hofwijck has been nominated for the Ithaca Price and subsidy.
The book has been designed by same-d. The SKBL, the Foundation for Castles, Estates and Rural Places has created the Ithaca Prize and subsidy, as an incentive to stimulate a more binding and/or interdisciplinary research about Dutch castles, historic houses and estates.

Journalistic works that bring positive attention to the horticultural and cultural heritage are also eligible. The prize and stipend are both valued at € 5.000,- each and are the most prestigious awards for publications and research in this field.
